Easycart lets you structure subscriptions to keep or revoke access after a certain period, balancing customer retention and revenue continuity.

Subscription-based installments

This strategy splits the total product cost into multiple payments, making higher-priced products more accessible. All you need to do is to set the number of mandatory billing cycles. For instance, a course priced at $119 could be divided into two monthly payments of $60. Easycart ensures that customers won't cancel the subscription until they pay the full amount. You can also decide if you want the customer to keep the access to the product after the final payment (that would make a lot of sense for subscription-based installments) but also you can decide to revoke access e.g. after one year.

"Pay What You Want" (PWYW)

The PWYW (Pay What You Want) model gives customers the freedom to choose their price, with an option for you to set a minimum to prevent undervaluation. You can also suggest a price, and if someone enters an amount lower than your minimum, we'll display a polite notice. You might also consider adjusting the purchase button to say "Donate" or "Support" to better reflect the spirit of PWYW.

Lead magnets

Lead magnets in Easycart are essentially free products that serve as an entry point for potential customers, offering limited access to your content. This strategy can attract a broader audience, some of whom may convert to paying customers for full access. It also gives you a chance to capture these leads for further nurturing by collecting the email addresses of those who want to access your product for free.
