As a creator, your main focus should be on what you do best—creating exceptional products. However, showcasing your creations often demands both time and effort. That's exactly why we developed Easyplayer. This tool is designed to help you effortlessly publish your infoproducts, whether they're online courses, newsletter archives, Notion templates, or anything else, without the complications of traditional publishing platforms. Moreover, Easyplayer secures access to your products and streamlines sales with easy integration into Easycart.  Let's dive into the tutorial and uncover all the details!

Create your own player

Easyplayer lets you create a fully functional player for your products in just minutes.

Here’s how to create your player:

  1. Click here or go to the Courses section in the Easytools dashboard.
  2. Click +New course.
  3. Name your project.
  4. Click Create.
While Easyplayer is popular for publishing online courses, and you can find itunder the Courses tab in the Easytools dashboard, it’s also perfect for other types of infoproducts!

Simple as that! Now, let’s add some files to your player.

Adding files to your player

Easyplayer supports a variety of file types. Each file you upload becomes a lesson in your player and each lesson can only display one file type.

Here's how to add files:

  1. Open the Files tab in the top menu.
  2. Click +Add first file or +New if you already added some files before.
  3. Enter a lesson Name.
  4. Select the File type.
  5. Upload or link the File source.
  6. Specify the estimated Duration.
  7. Add additional Description.
For products other than videos or audios, use the Duration field to enter any other relevant metadata.

Our supported files include:

  • Video: We support links from popular platforms like YouTube and Vimeo, as well as other sources.
  • Audio: Upload your audio file directly, or use an external link.
  • Download file: Upload any file format for users to download directly from the player.
  • PDF: Your PDFs are embedded within the player, allowing students to interact with the content.
  • Google document: Like PDFs, these are embedded within the player, letting students edit content or leave comments.
  • Any embed: Embed any file like Figma FigJam, Miro board, or Google Maps.
  • Text: Input any text content and edit it using HTML and Markdown.
  • Image: Upload an image or link from external sources.
You can upload as many files as you like, though there are some limitations on file sizes that we can host.

Customizing your player

To make your player truly appealing and user-friendly, you can customize and adjust its settings. From organizing your files into categories to editing the layout and appearance, everything can be tailored to ensure the player is convenient and aligns perfectly with your brand. Learn more about customizing your player here.

Publishing your player

When you finish working on your player, it's time to publish it. Simply click 'Publish' in the top menu. We'll generate a link to your player that you can share anywhere, and we'll host the player for you.

If you want to offer your infoproducts for free, you can finish here and just send the link to your followers. But if you want to offer paid access, check out how you can do it by connecting Easyplayer and Easycart.

Sell access to your infoproducts

You can sell access to your infoproducts by connecting your player with Easycart. Start by creating a product on Easycart and linking it to Easyplayer, or set up your player first and then integrate it with Easycart. Whichever option you choose, it’s a good idea to do this—and secure access to your player—before sharing the link to prevent unauthorized access. Learn more about how to easily launch sales of your infoproducts with Easyplayer and Easycart by clicking here.

Secure access to your player

Last but not least, you want to ensure that only those who have made a purchase can access your player and the files within it. To make this process truly hassle-free, you can use our paywall feature. When activated, it displays a login wall to anyone trying to enter your player. Those who have purchased access will be allowed straight in, while others will be directed to checkout where they can make a payment. To learn more about setting up your paywall, click here.

Student data

You can also send your students’ data to a webhook. This allows you to create various automations, such as automatically sending a message to participants after they complete the first lesson. To set up this option:

  1. Go to the Student data tab.
  2. Enter the Webhook address (you can generate it in Make or Zapier).
  3. Select the events you want to be notified about.

In the future, we plan to expand this tab to give you options like issuing certificates or easily accessing more detailed information, such as the percentage of course completion.
