Migrating from Paddle
Switch from Paddle to Easycart by exporting customer and transaction reports and importing them into Easycart
Unlike Easycart, which is based on Stripe and allows you to easily switch to another tool while keeping all your data safe on your Stripe account, Paddle is a closed system that doesn't offer conveniences for those looking to migrate to another platform.
However, we can assist you in this process as much as possible. This includes importing your customer list from Paddle to Easytools and assigning them your products.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Create an account on Easytools
2. Click this link to create a new product, or go to Store → Products and select +New product. You can copy the data from your Paddle product.
3. If you have more products, repeat this process for the others.
4. Configure your product and click Publish (alternatively, find more information about configuring a product here).
5. On Paddle, go to the Reports tab and generate a report for Audience, then download the report file once generated.
6. Similarly, generate a report for Transactions, covering the entire sales history (All Time) and leaving all options on All, then select Export Report.
7. Send us the downloaded files via email to hello@easy.tools, and we will handle importing the customers and assigning them the appropriate products.
Since we cannot automatically transfer your promo codes, emails, or other options available on Paddle, make sure to recreate them within Easycart or inform us in the email which elements are crucial for you to transfer. We will do our best to help!
