Defining your partners
You can define your partners either through your checkout or the Affiliates dashboard.

You can add affiliate partners to Easytools in two ways:
- Adding a partner in the Affiliates dashboard
- Creating an affiliate link in your checkout
Note: In both cases, your partner will appear in the Affiliates tab, where you can monitor their performance.
Important! Manually adding the ?ref=partner_name parameter to the checkout link is no longer supported. You need to define it at the checkout level or in the Affiliates tab. Manually added ref parameters won’t automatically add your partner to the list or track their performance. If you have used manual referral links previously and need past referral data, contact us at hello@easy.tools.
Adding a partner in the affiliates dashboard
To add a new partner in the Affiliates dashboard:
- Go to Store ➔ Affiliates
- Click +New affiliate
- Fill in the following details:
- Name: Visible only in Creator Portal
- Slug: Part of the link in the ?ref parameter
- Cookie duration: Set validity of cookies
- Commission: Charged per purchase
- Partner email (optional): Enables Referral tab access
Important: We will not deduct the commission automatically. You will need to handle payouts manually. Learn more here.
Note: If you set the cookie duration to 0, the purchase must be made directly from the partner’s link to be counted. If set to another value, e.g., 30, we’ll save a cookie from that partner, and later, even without using the link, the purchase will be attributed to the partner within 30 days of the visit with the parameter.
Creating an affiliate in your checkout
To define affiliates from your checkout:
- Go to Store ➔ Products.
- Create a new product or open an existing one.
- Click Share in the top right corner.
- Toggle the option Create affiliate link.
- Enter the Partner name.
- Click Copy link.
This generates a link like: cart.easy.tools/creator/checkout?ref=partner.
When you create your link this way, we automatically add your partner to the Affiliates dashboard and assign them the default cookie duration and commission rate. Learn how to edit it in this article.
